About Us

Inclusive Music Lessons in Orange County, CA

Mizmor Music is a Ministry Incorporated Initiative. We believe music is more than just learning — it is a powerful tool for connection, joy, comfort, and transformation.

Our vision is to create a space where every child and individual, regardless of age or ability, can experience music in a way that feels natural and meaningful. We are committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment where individuals can explore, express, and grow.

Through group sessions, one-on-one learning, and interactive experiences, our approach is centered on each individual's pace and unique way of engaging with music. We go beyond teaching music — growth becomes a natural outcome of engaging with it.

Music plays a vital role in shaping the brain and supporting growth. As individuals engage in music, they begin to build confidence, improve focus, develop coordination, and express themselves more freely — skills that naturally carry into everyday life.

Our Vision & Mission

Vision

Why We Exist

Mizmor Music was built on a simple belief: music belongs to every child. By bringing children with and without learning differences together under one roof, we're creating something rare — a school that families trust, children love, and the world needs more of.

Mission

What We Do

Our mission is to serve and minister through music — impacting lives, building connection, and bringing hope and encouragement. At Mizmor Music, we are dedicated to creating meaningful experiences where learning is joyful, growth is intentional, and every individual is empowered to thrive.

Our Parent Organization

Rooted in Ministry Incorporated

Mizmor Music is an initiative of Ministry Incorporated, established in the heart of Orange County — a dynamic faith-centered organization devoted to cultivating growth, purpose, and transformation within the community. Through initiatives spanning food outreach, career development, counseling, and holistic community programs and much more, it exists to serve with intention and lasting impact.

This foundation is what elevates Mizmor Music beyond a traditional music school. We embody the same mission — meeting individuals where they are, inspiring meaningful transformation through music, and fostering a community where every child and every family is seen, valued, and empowered to belong.

Proprietary Program — Exclusive to Mizmor Music

Introducing the DAAP Program

Our signature proprietary program — something no other music school offers. Come find out why families call it a turning point.

The DAAP Program exists because we believe that most music education starts in the wrong place. We built something different. Something that families call a turning point — not just for their child’s music, but for their child. We are not going to tell you exactly what it is. We are going to invite you to find out.

?
What happens in a DAAP session?
Parents who have attended say it was unlike any music experience they have ever seen for their child. We cannot fully explain it in words — it has to be experienced.
?
Why don’t we show the full process here?
Because every child’s DAAP journey is different. What we do is proprietary, deeply personal, and only truly understood when you are in the room with us.
?
Who is DAAP for?
Every child. Neurotypical. Neurodivergent. Whether your child has tried music before or never touched an instrument — DAAP finds the way in.

The most valuable things cannot be described — only experienced. The families who have been through DAAP don’t talk about what happened. They talk about who their child became.

Why DAAP Changes Everything

Most music schools assign an instrument and begin lessons. We believe that's backwards. The DAAP Program ensures your child starts their musical journey on the right path — built around who they are.

  • Exclusive to Mizmor Music — found nowhere else
  • Works for neurotypical and neurodivergent children
  • First session completely free — no strings attached
  • What happens inside? Come and see for yourself.
  • Families who’ve been through DAAP keep coming back

Neurodivergent Support

A Safe, Dedicated Space for Every Learner

We specialize in working with children who benefit from sensory-aware environments, adaptive teaching methods, and extra patience. Here, neurodivergent students are not accommodated — they are celebrated.

Our Neurodivergent Program is purpose-built, not an afterthought. Every element — from room setup to teaching pace to instrument selection — has been thoughtfully designed to help neurodivergent children thrive. Whether your child has Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Down Syndrome, or any other developmental difference, they are welcome here.

Music plays a powerful, evidence-based role in neurodivergent development. Research shows that music therapy and adaptive music education help improve motor skills, attention span, memory, emotional regulation, communication, and self-confidence — through the universal language of music.
